*** PS - Curry lamb does not fit in with the expanding 10 course dinner we are having. Also there is no vegetable dish on the menu. So we will prepare an Organic mixed vegetable salad instead. Maybe also a dish of butter prawns if it turns out ok. We shall see.

CNY DINNER MENU

CNY is next weekend. Traditionally we have an 8 course meal for the reunion dinner and steamboat on the 1st Day. I suppose it will be the same this year. Steamboat is comparatively easy. What we need are a couple of volunteers to buy and prepare the ingredients. Do we have any volunteers out there?

The reunion dinner would require a bit of planning and coordination. We do not want to end up with 5 roast ducks and three plates of fried Chinese cabbage for dinner. One week’s notice should be adequate. Enough time to dig up those old recipe books and buy whatever spices and ingredients necessary. Each household is expected to cook 1 or max 2 dishes. Please announce in here the dish you intend to cook after you have decided to avoid duplications.
